Individual-modular Performances on an Interactive Website www.urfearmpg.net

October 31 – November 30, 2020

For 2020, our initial plan was to return to the workshop/rehearsal stage to prepare a contextually grounded performance in Yogya and held the representations in Jakarta, Indonesia, in July 2020. However, as the global Covid-19 crisis emerged early this year and continues until today, it became evident that we could not persist with the original plan and had to reconfigure our project along with the protocol of social distancing.

Among many online performance options, we find it best to adapt our work into a web-based performance event where all the collaborating artists, as well as new ones, could create their work individually from their own respective safe-place, and/or collaboratively.

All the individual-modular works will be presented on a dedicated and specifically-structured interactive website, http://www.urfearmpg.net/, that could allow us to perform our diverse and hybrid modular works as a manifestation of one project.

Dramaturgically, we are going to structure this website as a performance, meaning that the visitors (spectators) will be guided to follow a specific path that will allow them to experience all of these individual works as one work. The series of individual/modular performances on the specially-structured interactive website is going to take place akin to a full month festival.
