From mid of 2019, structured through a devised collaborative performance, there will be several workshops of performance development and work-in-progress presentation in East Flores (Indonesia) and Tokyo (Japan), before the premiere of the collaborative piece in Shizuoka Performing Arts Center (SPAC-Shizuoka) in November 2019.
These workshops, these working spaces, inspired by Peer Gynt’s madhouse, consist of fellow performance artists and cultural producers: the collective Peer Gynts that gather from across Asia to draw and share our journey, experiences, tactical tricks, and finally: dance/perform it in front of Asia’s spectator in Flores, Tokyo and Shizuoka.
June 23-July 7, 2019: Workshop and Work in Progress performance in East Flores.
Beside working with key artists, the workshop in East Flores will also invite and collaborate with local artists in researching and developing the work-in-progress piece.
The workshop in Flores is supported by East Flores local government and Ministry of Education and Culture
